WTB R1 or R6 or Honda CBR, hell even maybe a GSXR

Lookin for 04 or newer bike. Really want a Raven edition R1 or R6, preferably an R1. I'd be open to newer CBR1000RR's or maybe even a GSXR, but probably not.

Here's the big catch though. NO BLUE!!! NO BLUE ANYTHING!!! I'm so sick of seeing blue bikes! The only combo I'd consider for a GSXR is the white/grey/black combo. And it'd have to be a steal cause I dont wanna be like the 5 million people around that have a GSXR.

So, I know I'm picky and people have already commented on how if i'd just open my options I'd find a bike. But if I'm gonna spend 7 or 8K I want what I want, I dont want to settle. LOL!

I dont check this site that often, so if you have something you wanna sell me your gonna have to email me. Send me pics and as much info about the bike as possible.

I've been looking around and haven't seen much. There's green ZX6RR in Lansing on CL but green is a little too much.

them 5 million people with the gsxrs are the smart ones i used to ride an R6 and ill never do it again suzuki all the way for now on but good luck ill post anything i find for ya

Of all the bikes I've owned and/or ridden, I'd say that the R1 is the most unpleasant to ride. It's like riding on a 2x4. However, they do have great usable power throughout the powerband, and they do look killer. In the end it's all about personal prefrence, and mine is a Suzuki. But they are all great motorcycles !

Thanks for all the comments guys. I have heard that about the yamaha's. I need to start going out and tryin out some of these before I make a decision. But as far as looks goes, I think Yamaha's got it sewn up.

I have a 04 R1 now (not for sale). Not sure how much you know about these bikes. If you want any advice/opions on these bike or any others feel free to PM me. Raven came out in 05.

04-06 R1's have a peaky motor, less midrange more power up top. Has a super tall 1st gear. Great bike for trackdays at a road course. I've seen some nice R1's going for less than $7k.

A Gixxer is going to be better at the drag strip because clutch is much better than the R1.

CBR is heavier and slower than the two above bikes.

Any of these bikes are more capable than 95% of the riders that by them. They are all stupid fast, pick color you like with low miles you should be set.

So you want to get a Yamaha or Honda because that's more original than a Suzuki? How about a Ducati, Aprilia, Hyosung, Buell, Triumph (something other than the above mentioned three and Kawasaki) if you don't want to see your bike at every stoplight.
