Winter Storm Warning

It's bad down here. I had a thunderstorm last night wake my dog up.

well that's good, we all know if you guys got 1" you'd be sleeping on the highway lol

Nah. we had 1 inch earlier this month and didn't phase a thing. School didn't even let out (Which after last year kind of irritated me, but it worked out in the end).

Driving to work at 4:00pm.... US23 to I94, I saw at least 15 cars involved in accidents. It was raining/sleeting at the time. It's turning to snow in Taylor now

looks like about 8-10" in my yard this AM, can't wait to see what the day brings! hopefully we match that today.

Not all that bad, my normally 1 hour commute took me 1.5 hours this am. This living in Farmington Hills, working in Toledo thing has taken approximately 3 weeks to get really old.

Roads were clear (and empty) from Troy to Warren this morning. With schools & Government offices closed I made it to wk faster than normal....

Upper management coworker of mine commutes from Sylvan, OH to Farmington Hills and has been for like 20 years. I don't know why he does it.

and if I had to guess, Monroe County roads weren't even touched.

Let's cross our fingers as I have been in talks with a company about 5 minutes from my house regarding a management position. Better benefits, better salary and 65 mile shorter commute!

I went out to my parents house in Howell last night. Used the 2wd ATV to plow their drive. they had about 10" and it was thick and heavy. Had a hard time plowing the snow. It continued to snow all night and is still snowing, so I'm guessint they got another 4 inches or so. I'll head out there tonight and plow it again.

While I was plowing about 20 snowmobiles went racing down the street going about 80 mph. I pushed the snow across the road so when they came back they had to go over dirt (well it was still snowing, so there was a little snow on top).

This little thing has really confirmed for me that getting the Evo was a good decision. I got rid of my other 2 Evos before winter, so this was my first real experience with one in the snow. Handled like a dream...absolutely no issues whatsoever.
