Hit the river yesterday and got skunked looking for some smallies. Wind was a big factor but anyone got any tips for mid detroit river or should I just suck it up and hit st. Clair everytime lol.

I was on the River Raisin yesterday. Fly fishing.
 
Waded the Lake Huron flats for smallies on Monday. Some real nice 3-4 lb fish. Still looking for a 6 lber.



 






This was at the D-Bar Boy Scout Ranch in Metamora 2 weeks ago. Had his other pole up north but the Snoopy pole still got the job done. Need to upgrade his home fishing equipment and get out more with him. He loved it. We caught a bunch more... was fun!
 
Nice Matt! You need to get him a fly rod in a few years. Get him started while he has the patience for it. lol
