whos a reputable shop in the metro Detroit area who can weld in a 6point cage in my 1996 camaro? looking for decent prices too, economical times right now :gr_drivin

thanks guys.

We have several sponsors who fabricate roll bars/cages. Personally, I've had Stenod do cage work for me and I was very happy, they've done a ton of 4th-gen F-bodies. I've heard Team-Z does excellent work as well.

economical times right? does that mean a shop should cheap up their labor rate for you?

no i do not but i also dont want to be refereed to the most expensive shop. not trying to be cheap but not just throwing my money out the window either.

You have to pay for good work.

Going cheaper some corners are going to get cut somewhere. Most good shops are fairly competitive with their pricing.

I've had work done by Stenod, Reiters, and Jim-Powski racecraft and have never had issues with any of them. Heck Stenod and Reiters both picked up my car from my house at one point or another. That's service! lol

KTS Racecars, very competitive pricing and very top notch work. Heres a couple of pics of my car during the build. www.ktsracecars.com
