When did you become a MM????

It's been a while. I started with the user name "Zahalar" but I kept forgetting my login info, so I created a new user in 2008 and have used that one ever since. But it was a very long time ago to be sure.

I can help you recover that sometime, if you ever want me to.

I don't remember what year I came on board, it was a different screen name at the time. Lots of good memories! I remember Whirlyball!

A great collection of memories guys. Keep posting. I've got comments coming after the celebrations lol. Happy Cinco de mayo. By the way... I'm finding enibriation is the best way to wrench when you're to old to crawl under the car and you can't see the parts unless you put your nose on them. :) I'm hoping the new glasses help but I probably should have taken the eye exam in the lubricated format that the glasses will be used in. Note to self... pulling a balancer still sucks, more so when you forget which SFI unit you have lol.

Joined summer of either 2000 or 2001. Too old to remember, lol! Initially joined to get a parking spot on Woodward, Brian Scott was my initial contact, but I remember many of the original members which have not been around in a looong time! And def remember Detroit Speedworks!

That's when things really started to get more organized. Capt Flannel had a fan, but like every pandemic... Brian may have been Patient Zero for MM. :)

The other story I forgot to mention earlier was Eric (Roadrage) trying to drive his Trans Am through my garage door! :2000-pont

Scott has a lot of great early projects and lot of history of the "fun factors" documented. :) It's good to see you getting time to hang out an share for sure Scott. :)

I forgot about that convertible! I do remember the eclipse!

I think everyone here would enjoy participating in a True Street race either NMCA or NMRA if you are driving Ford. It's just as fun as our old travels to Stanton for the M Events. You can camp after the race in the pits or go party at your nearby hotel. Not much else out there with that similar easy going racetrack vibe.

Actually, it would be good to roll out and support the guys that want to get out and run. Maybe we do a road trip to pit crew for the guys that can run. :)
