When did you become a MM????

I haven't been around much in the last 15 years but I was definitely around in the early days as my join date will testify. Was a lot of fun in those early days hanging out with a lot of great people (and a few not so great). I have the same story as a number of the OGs in that I got married and had kids and life just got busy.

I have a lot of great memories of those days. I even know how the Icks got that nickname. :D Hung out with those fellas quite a bit along with Eric (Roadrage) Harlan, Stenod, Frezza, Denny (AutoRoc), Joe (Duke), Brian (TurboBuick), John (BlackHawk) and many others. Managed to make it to one of the events that some of the members went to that was down in Louisiana and saw Harlan and Harold put down some (at the time) eye opening 1/4 mile times. The good old days!

I managed to forget one of the OGs: Tom (cASeSenSiTive). Not sure how I forgot him as we hung out quite a bit as well.

Several old videos from the early days here, Scott. Once you go to the link, click videos. The main page shows there is no content.

These are the cool posts I wanted to see from everyone. Keep them coming. Eric... do you remember me hitting the brakes in the Durmax on the way home from WDC and the poor grill falling in the back of my truck with Birmingham PD next to us at 15 mile??? These are the MM moments that make us family lol.
The poor grill took a beating, much like your truck was taking around then

I need to dig out my old hard drives and find all the pictures an videos that I used to have on my computer. At some point, I stopped transferring them when I updated computers. I still have them somewhere, though, including those old MM videos that Eric (91Bird305) put together.

I have pictures of some of the races but also some that I took at the Hooter's get togethers and other events.

Any pics of your garage door? :gr_judge:

The other story I forgot to mention earlier was Eric (Roadrage) trying to drive his Trans Am through my garage door! :2000-pont

LOL. I just made a comment about that before I saw this. To be fair, neither of us were driving!

So many memories but some that stick out for me:
Hibberd getting Tuna arrested for the slowest street race ever.
Driving home from the Power Tour stop in Illinois with Hibberd, Harlan...I think Indy and watching all 3 of them walk away from me while I was doing 150.
The Supra Paul nitrous bottle fiasco.
Coney Island with bowling shoes and pizza sauce.
Banish saying " Don't do that, ever" to Harlan on the dyno
Reiko trying to kill himself, me and my Ranger
Trying to get myself stabbed at CMU
Getting a push start in my bad-ass Escort
Hibberd putting on a nametag at Dave and Buster and trying to convince them he worked there
Driving high speed as a group on the way somewhere (I think M6)and coming upon an unsuspecting Stenod (not yet named Stenod) and Kevin.
Multiple Captain Flannels at Halloween.
My Trans Am self driving into Scotts garage door after a trans swap.
And of course, absolutely destroying the eldest offspring of Mr. Linehan in a cheerleading competition at the dream cruise lot.

We are lucky enough that there have been a lot of great and fun people that have been involved in MM over the years. A lot of great moment mentioned so far and great to see an "Ick" post right up after me and I'm happy to see all the great things going on in everyone's lives but I'm always jealous of the game room. :) Some great pictures attached for sure. For sure, Eric's work on the Michigan Muscle videos were always awesome.

The work that Nick, Justin and the guys have done to keep things rolling along is awesome. It's hard as our lives move on and change, to make time for our crazy extended family here at MM. The second generation of MM'ers is expanding for sure and I enjoy seeing them all. :)

Keep sharing your stories and pictures... this summer is going to get better. :)

Thanks Rick, appreciate that. Fingers crossed we can have a Woodward event for those who want to participate. Having a car to wrench on again is fun, but most of my time has been spent with the kiddo so far this year.

I don't even know how long I've been here. I know I use to post on the "old board". (where the fuck is that thing?) I found out about MM from racing via the 209 racing guys, Erik aka 8URZOH6 was friends with those dudes, LT1Pat, Sean (LTLHOMER), and laydown racing. Between that and meeting Reiko via ProjectPat (RIP) at Tele, getting a job at Roush Racing, it all kind of came together around the same time for me.

2002 maybe?

This was 2003 or 2004. I went to High School with Pat, he was always a mopar dude. Met Reiko through him back when he had the SRT4.

Shirts like these? Here are the ones I still have from back in the day. I swear I am not a hoarder! :D I saw your post and it reminded me that I had these stashed away in a drawer. They should be collectors items now, right?
