Whats the skinny on Bosch oil filters?

Bosch is made by Champion or Purolator it looks like.

Awesome, that's what I wanted to know. I like purolator. I will not run a fram or any rebadged frams.

I usually only run K&N or Mobil 1. Advance typically has specials like 5 qts of mobil 1 and a mobil 1 filter for 30 bucks. Last deal I got was 5 qts of castrol fully synthetic and a K&N filter for 30 bucks. That's what I have on there now.

The deal now is castrol and a bosch. I guess I'll pick that up.

Actually Purolator was the first oil filter ever produced for an automobile


SO with that being said.......

Purolator is my 2nd choice to AMSOIL

There is a guy on Youtube that has cut a bunch of filters open, not sure if Bosch was one of them.

The important thing to remember in most case... the name is just a manufactured spec that is done at a Fram or Purolator plant anyway.
