What's the going rate to get a car sandblasted?

Wanting to get a car sandblasted, what is the going rate to have a gutted shell blasted?

Just had my cougar quoted as a bare shell at strip it a few weeks ago. Between $500-$1000 depending on how much sealer and undercoating he had to blast through. Not including a coat of primer. He referred the body shop next door. That guy was elusive on a price quote.

I just called last week to a guy in chesterfield that does the dustless blasting. He wanted 1200 to blast a fox coupe shell. That was including a epoxy primer as soon as he was done. But same thing he said if I find to many coats of paint or putty then the price goes up.
