Color picker is bullshit. Take a picture of an object you know to be white, color picker an area of white in shadow on that object, because this dress is all in the shadow as you can see the washed out background from the bright light behind it, what color does it say the object you know to be white is?

Ah ha! I see it now. I was outside for a bit and when I came inside it was a blue/goldish black color. As my eyes adjusted to the fluorescent lighting it turned back to white/gold.

Here it is with the background colors corrected. Your eyes are trying to compensate for the bright backgrounds. The photo on the right is the same photo that the OP posted but the one on the left has the contrast corrected so it won't trick your eyes.
