Yep, those are QUAD ~4.5" tips on what I think is an early 90's Lexus LS400. I guess at least the tips were nice & straight, not out of alignment

I had some leftover 2" stainless from making some headers and I used it on my Jetta for the entire exhaust.

1 primary on an SBC = the same diameter as the entire catback on my Jetta.

looks like someone is toying with the "VIP" styling. notice the Lexus badge was replaced with a toyota badge? the next step is enormous, low offset wheels and some coilovers.

it was super popular on the west coast a couple of years ago, but never really made it to the midwest.

all the big bodied japanese cars were/are used for this stuff. some of it looks decent, some of it looks like shit.

it's kind of interesting really. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VIP_style

Characteristics

Cars associated with VIP style usually have common characteristics, such as large diameter rims (usually broad faced designs) with low offsets that sit flush with the fender, exhausts that stick out past the rear bumper (although not so much emphasized these days), a full bodykit or lip kit, glossy paint and a lowered ride height. It is not uncommon to see extremely negative camber on many VIP style cars. Traditional colors of VIP Style cars are usually black, white, grey and silver.

lol, not my thing - but i can somewhat see the attraction. sort of..
