Watch out Camaro... Here comes the 5.0! - 1st Dyno runs.

the brand new car that EVI modded made 380rwhp / 394rwtq stock? dont see how Livernois car/dyno is off at all

I saw another baseline from a car at Livernois that was only in the 360's and a video of a car Lingenfelter baselined that was like 373. So I was saying the 378 is the highest number I've seen evidence of today. I'm not saying Livernois is off, I'm just saying that a bigger difference could have been found to post if it had been a Mustang guy posting the Camaro numbers.

412 sure seems like a random SAE cert type of number but I've never really seen Ford proclaim that their numbers were from the SAE cert like GM does.

On the 395 it did say it included a 3% correction factor for weather conditions. I'm not a dyno operator so I have no idea what kind of factor you normally see but 3% seems like a high correction factor. Although 395 - 3% is still 383.

You should see the way foncarelli's 2011 pulls.................oops "Hey foncarelli your car is here and ready to go"...........................I kid, I kid :D

Yes, it is well documented that the rods are only good to the rated power output. The engineers said than anything other than NA will need stronger rods.

Besides with the engine being 11:1 you probably would want to swap in some dished pistons anyway for boosted application.

So, what your saying is that just like all the other new Mustangs...you need a built motor to make more than 450rwhp with blowing it up. Stinger1982 ...if you already signed the papers GM might give you $25k for that fine unit on a trade in. :w00t:

Foncarelli has one ordered? I mean, I'm sure the stock 5.0 has to be good to 700 HP or so then.
Someone has to be the first to find out what the limit really is, right?

He wants to turn corners though so I'm sure he'll take the lack of HP upgradeability and the 200 lb lighter car.

lol you should hang out on misubie.com
nothing but people who like turning on that forum, no drag racers :(

Huh, a bunch of AWD guys that don't like changing either the clutch or the tranmission in their car at least once a year? WTF is wrong with them?

Its good to see cars battle it out with close specs again. Back during the gas spike I thought we'd never experience it ever again.

Most new camaros are running 12.8-13.0 @ 111-112 that Ive seen. I see no reason why the '11 stang cant meet or beat the maros figures. Only a timeslip will tell, the dyno talk is already old. Uug.
