I'm going to have to agree with you on this. The LS1 was ridiculously awesome compared to the 98 - 04 mustang engine(s) (even the terminator)

Those cars, the base GTs, should be quick. They are Ford's flagship V8 ponycar.

Mustangs have always been lacking somewhat in the balls department with respect to the Camaros. My car just sounds mean. I'd be afraid of a new VW Beetle pulling me with how slow my turd is. 15.56 in El Paso. 331,2 snails, gears,supporting equipment ASAP for me.

I'd expect a Terminator coupe to beat the 04 GTO as well. GTO was what, a high 13 second car out of the box? What was a 03/04 Cobra coupe? About the same?

A 03/04 Cobra with a pully and a tune would need god himself to have any hope in beating a head/cam Fbody. :lol: I make just a little more than a good head/cam car and have no problems with whipple/kenne belle Cobras. I believe the 04 had the 5.7L, those cars were roaches. 03/04 should kill the 5.7L GTO's.
