upper tq box to main hoop bars in fox?

Ok just finished up a bulloni 8 pt on my car.

The rear down bars sit on the coil over upper bar and so forth..

I wanted to put in some bars from the inside upper tq box plates to the cage but im unsure on the angle they should be at.

I know that the angle of the uppers affects. I'm wondering if the angle those bars would be set on will also change or per say affect how the car 60's based on where they apply the force onto the hoop.

My thought was to set them at the same angle as the upper control arms when the car is at the approx ride it would be when the car launches? is this wrong?

I wouldn't think it would matter, as long as it keeps the metal on the tub from flexing. My last two mustangs have had those bars at different angles, but I'm pretty sure neither of them moved at all.

From looking at the pics on ur site I geuss i did pretty good as far as geussing where to put them... Mine are damn near at the same angle as the majority of yours and are touching the main hoop about 3" below the top door bar..

One other question for ya; is it acceptable to run the rear down bars to the coil over mount and thats it or should there be bars that go all the way to the back of the frame rail behind the end of the tubs?

from what I have been told, anyhting out past the rearend is just along for the ride as far as that goes............ You can see where mine are on my 10 pt...... The Team Z guy should know best however. Their shit leaves hard and runs away fast..........
