UAW Contract Expiration

It'll be interesting to see how much more market share the Detroit 3 lose after the strike is over. And how much work is moved to Mexico.

You forgot how much was embezzled :secret:

Hahaha.....Yeah, so true....

While the UAW said the big three weren't bargaining in 'good faith', the news reported that Fain wasn't doing anything either. They said they were tired of bidding against themselves. On the other side of the coin, something seemed to have worked since Ford has tentatively agreed to something...

That was quick! Freep is reporting a deal at Ford. 25% not compounded, tiers down to 3 years, 11% raise upon signing, COLA raises back, and retirement increases that were not specified. Nothing about battery plants, but I have to think they were part of teh deal based on GM's offer.

Congrats to UAW guys, they got a pretty good deal! Happy they are going back though!

Not a word about battery plants from wither one of the two that made a deal. It seems like it will be tough for GM to pull that back now. I hope they settle soon!

Crazy that almost every big GM plant voted no except Arlington and Orion. Looks like it was pulled through by the service part warehouse workers!
