YOU ARE A GREAT WOMAN!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY SISTERS???

True dat!

That aside, its a very good head right out of the box. Just be sure he uses the correct length pushrod, stock length pushrods will not work. The length he needs will be determined by the cam he is using.

That's a great gift! :peelout:

the Trickflow Technologies Twisted wedge Small block ford/ chevy heads are an excelent value. There are sevral porters that rework these heads and sell them complete on the internet for more performance. However out of the box these heads direct from trickflow are still excelent performers. Check summitracing these things are bargian priced they also have a complete upper end setup with intake manifold that works very very well. I would recomend them.

As for pushrods they will need to be measured once the heads are on.

Well so far, Ive helped him rebuild the engine, failed miserably at the auto parts store trying to get valve covers, Im getting it repainted in March, and Imma buy heads. Id say that Im doin damn good!

The TW heads work great IMO. I've been using the small block ford version since they came out way back in the day. You can get away with more cam with those than other large valve head because of where they put the intake valve. It also unshrouds it a little more. Be careful when comparing intake runner volume to other heads, because the runner is effectively a bit shorter than other heads, you can't compare the numbers directly.

I've used mine to make 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 950, and now maybe more HP.

Well you can get just the heads. I didn't know exactly what you had.

Ugh. All so confusing. Okay. So heres what I'll do then. Buy the heads and he can figure the rest of the crap out. LOL

Okay... Got another question. How much faster will decent heads make him? Are we talkin seconds? Or just hundredths?
