Turbo Mark VII Time

Got a little work done tonight, pulled out the air ride/brake harness and, sorted out the last few wires that were in the harness that ran up to the battery isolator and some relays and, removed the blower box.

It cleans up well but, there is still a lot of dirt built up where the wire harnesses use to be placed.

There is a few pounds that were just shed.

I was dead set on Strange or Areospace but then, figured if its going to see street use the Cobra like setup would be better.

I personally like the Cobra brake setup, it may be heavier but I feel very comfortable stopping my pig at 150mph with them. Only downside is having to run a 17" wheel, but that looks better anyways. Are you running Cobra 11.65" rotors in the rear?

The Cobra calipers look very good but the "SVE" lettering just seals the deal.
It really has to go, I wanted them in black but the red was the only ones in stock. I'll probably make them black or cast iron color and get rid of the SVE all together.

I'll be using the stock rear brakes which are similar/the same as a SVO. 11.3" rotors with a 54mm single piston caliper.

As some know, I was fighting the headlight portion of the harness after cutting out the brake/air ride sections. But, I got that sorted out the headlights, got the harness tied up and ready for some loom. I still need to figure out the route for the other harness to get it away from the turbo.

I figure, once the engine portion of the harness is done, I'll put the condenser and mount the intercooler higher up and then put the front end on making it, ready for some day light and some pictures.

Picked up a free motor, needless to say I found out why it was pulled out of the truck it was in. One rod is loose and has vertical play at the big end. So, its off to be cleaned and freshened up.
