Trying to decide between 3 digital cameras

and

Canon Powershot either the SD1100 or SD770.



What do you guys suggest?? Trying to read the reviews but of course there are 10,000. of them.

Go with the Canon. I have the powershot G2 from a couple yrs ago, and it works great still.

MY sister has a huge/professional style Nikon and loves it.

I have an old Sony T5 and love it. I want to get the Sony T10...but $439.00!!

My first was a Cannon SD430 and took great pics. Easy to use, etc. You can't go wrong with a Cannon. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of a battery indicator. I am not sure if they have since fixed that complaint, but that was the one major one everyone had with the Cannon's. All in all, not a bad camera.

I upgraded to an Olympus Stylus 790 (waterproof, shockproof) so I can take it anywhere. Also easy to use, takes good pics and are dirt cheap now as they have the higher end versions as their mainstream. Plenty of deals out there to be had.

Which Canon and why?

which cannon is a crap shoot, I did not look at the spec diff bet them. They are both "pocket-able" point and shoots so its not gonna matter that much if they are both current models.

I have had several Canon products and have nothing but good things to say about them. tough, produce great images, lots of features, I like their menu systems, lots of user adjustablity for a point and shoot, and if it breaks their warranty service center does a good (and quick) job.

Thats why I say Canon.

Plus the prices are usaually pretty good. Shop the shit out of it.

I just picked up at sd750 (7.1) off ebay for 135 but check slickdeals.net believe you can get the 1100 for 150 from officedepot or something for the same price. I just had to have the 3" lcd instead of the 2.5" on the sd1100

The SD1100 is an excellent camera. I had it till the wife washed mine. Just don't let your wife wash yours and you'll be golden!

I just picked up at sd750 (7.1) off ebay for 135 but check slickdeals.net believe you can get the 1100 for 150 from officedepot or something for the same price. I just had to have the 3" lcd instead of the 2.5" on the sd1100

Check out the Canon SX10 IS, it has a 20x
zoom lens - thats like a 560mm lens! About $350

poopy... I just recently bought the Sony cybershot dsc-w120...we love it, I was gonna buy the canon, but this Sony has more shit to it and was cheaper...you can come by and ill take some pictures of you ....lmao

Ive got a new sony that i just picked up. 10.1mp touch screen, I'll let you borrow it if you like. I dont have the model number off hand, but it fits in your pocket, and takes good pictures.
