I think every year that the mustang gets heavier. That new Shelby Cobra is 3779 lbs on it's own IIRC.

the whipple rocks!! if anyone with an 05+ can swing the extra cash and wants a fun reliable low 11 second street car I think it is the only way to go...

Yeah, the 300C weighs in about 60 lbs lighter than the Charger. I just find it shocking that over time Mustangs have gotten heavier. The Fox body 5.0's weighed a hair over 3000 lbs.

This isn't against Mustangs, I've owned an 03 Cobra. A lot of cars have seen similar circumstances. It's just... weird.
