Took the 08 whippled gt to the track yesterday(some pic's)

That's ok the Hemi Challanger is 4189lbs

Yeah, the 300C weighs in about 60 lbs lighter than the Charger. I just find it shocking that over time Mustangs have gotten heavier. The Fox body 5.0's weighed a hair over 3000 lbs.

Are those the nittos? what size and how did they feel?

they are the nitto 305/35's they feel great around town with only 20 psi in them.. also the car went 1.61 60' first time out with the car they hooked like crazy!!! I'm going to put a 3.55 gear in the car and I'm hoping with lid's driving skills to drop the car into the 1.59-1.57 60' range with a bone stock suspension/torque converter:thumbup:

As technology and options grow so does weight.

But you would think that with improvements in design and materials, and the general desire to do more with less that they'd stay the same or even drop.

This isn't against Mustangs, I've owned an 03 Cobra. A lot of cars have seen similar circumstances. It's just... weird.

Hey no offense takin on the Mustangs comments it's just that all manufacturers are beefing up their cars. The new Mustangs are still light compared to the other new vehicles: Chargers, Challengers, Camaro's
