Heads up if you didn't know, Toledo has speed cameras, you probably don't have to ask me how I know...
Anyway, the ticket I got says that the "Recorded Images do constitute prima facia evidence of a violation" and does not have any info on court appearances etc..
DAFUQ does that mean?
Do I have no choice but pay the ticket, no option to appear in court or talk to somebody about a reduction in penalty?
Do they assign points to whomever pays the fine?
I ask because it's a company car, and not registered to me. There is no camera image of the driver, only a photo of the rear of the car and zoomed image of the plate. I plan to pay the fine, but need to understand if I have the ability to appear in court, plea it down for less points, or if points are even assigned in traffic camera violations? FWIW, I'm licensed in MI, not OH.
