Today was a great day

Yesterday I had put in my "2 weeks" to leave for a job out of frustration. My issues were brought up prior and never addressed on 3 separate occasions. Well today the president of our company and I had a meeting, I laid it all out for him, he agreed that my situation was mismanaged and he rectified the situation. Here's to a promotion and raise, training for upper management, new bonus structure plus now I report directly to the director of operations. Talk about a day starting out in the toilet and then pulling a 180!

Congrats! Hearing that gives guys like me hope that some places actually value certain employees and will make a situation right to keep them. Obviously you should be commended for being a great employee if they changed things for you.

Worst comes to worse and it doesn't work out. I'm young and my resume is pretty stacked. No worries either way!

That came off sounding arrogant and that wasn't my intention. I have been fortunate to acquire my formal education along with work experience that has put me in a position to move through the ranks and advance quickly in my profession. Im 29 and have worked in materials engineering, quality engineering, then quality manager and now plant manger. I also have my own business my wife and I run, so should anything happen here, no big deal.
