This thing is FAST

I thought that looked familiar! I had an informal "beer-tasting" in that office space not too long ago. A friend of mine delivers to Cloverleaf and knows the owner fairly well, so he let us hang upstairs to try some beers we bought. That 2002 looks like a DAMN fun car.

Actually on topic, your GT makes a wonderful photo companion to that bad Lambo. Both are very tastefully done up cars.

Yeah, the guy who runs the wine store is a cousin of the guy who owns the building. Cloverleaf is a great store for booze and hopefully once the neon sign gets facing both north and south on main business will pick up. It's such a cool location for booze, just having it below you doesn't do much for your productivity.

Thanks. The GT is faster on top by a pretty big margin but it will never match the crushing launch ability of the LP560.

I say we line up my slow car and that Heffner LP560 to see what happens..:D

Honestly, there's nothing to see with a race with this car. Just get a vBox and make a bunch of runs and see what happens. It doesn't matter what you do with it or who drives it, it will always run between 10.2-10.4 between 142-144. Multiple drivers on many, many passes proved this. The driver does nothing but hold the wheel and press the gas, and it barely even moves from dead center once it's off the line.

It's on the way to either L.A or Miami sometime in the next 48 hours.

I forgot to mention that both of those cars are bad ass.
Thanks for posting the pics.

I would love a ride in either of those cars.

Ya, it's cool. It would have been cool to see a physical race though rather than a boring VBOX battle.

Once again, cool cars (including yours) and nice pics.

^ awesome shots DBK!

The pics make me drool. Such amazing cars - and both looks GREAT in white. I also agree they make a great combo for pics: both look awesome but in different ways as the GT sits wider and lower while the LP has some serious sharp corners/aggressiveness to it

Knowing that the theme of this thread was the LP560 I initially focused on that. After looking at the shots again I realize how much I really love the Ford GT. That is a truly perfect sports car design. So exotic yet purpose built. The way the rear deck lid sits open is pure race car. The fact that a big blue oval is on the nose is almost unbelievable. A modern day classic probably never to be repeated. Amazing.

I can imagine my productivity would be severely impacted as well. If you haven't had it yet, try Aventinus...they have it at the shop. It's a really good brew.

Once again, both cars are a work of art and there are some really cool shots in the set. Thanks for sharing 'em.

You say the GT is noticably faster up high.... Whats the HP rating of the Lambo? If they are similiar is the speed difference due to the 4wd system, aero? why is so much slower?
