Sorry no videos of it, but Heffner sent up this TT LP560 for a magazine to test and I've been storing it for him for a couple days. It's got launch control, and it works really, really well. Using a vBox, just running it on a concrete road not even at a track, on the 295/35/19 Pirellis it came with, it ran 0-60 in 2.8 and 10.2@144. For a car that isn't a drag car, that's a damn fast 1/4 for a car to be able to just run from a random stoplight, on tires you can use in the rain and on long road trips. It's not the fastest car in the world, but it's a retard proof low 10 second car. This one had basically stock everything but the turbos so when he gets a built engine in one, I expect it will run mid 9s easily on the street. Had my car detailed and went out to get some shots of them together.

Seriously 10.20's on those tires on the street?? That's awesome.

Yeah. He sent up a set of Toyo R888s to throw on just in case the cold Michigan weather was too much for the tires, but after one run on the Pirellis it was obviously apparent the only thing they would accomplish was possibly breaking something. That was also on a mix of predominantly pump gas. I'm sure race gas and an extra lb or two of boost and it would see 9s.

I wish

I've been in there using that as office space since 2008. My buddy owns the building and he's got a really great eye for design. He was going to use it as his house but there was some zoning requirement that would have made him lose about 5000 sq/ft of lot he wants to sell next door to turn it into residential parking. He put a ton of money into that building refurbishing it and it's definitely the coolest building in town. The wine store downstairs is really great too and they sell craft beer by the bottle.

He bought another nearby commercial building and made it his house. It's similarly killer. It's got a two car garage, with another garage door on the other side that opens to the courtyard in the middle of his house. One of the interior window walls that looks into the courtyard opens and you can drive cars into his loft as well. He has a BMW 2002 I suspect will end up in the house over the winter.

All I can say is WOW! Stunning car, stunning results. Nice pics too. And why is it that premium wheels always look so.... premium! Very nice indeed!

One question: does he roll race? JK!

I thought that looked familiar! I had an informal "beer-tasting" in that office space not too long ago. A friend of mine delivers to Cloverleaf and knows the owner fairly well, so he let us hang upstairs to try some beers we bought. That 2002 looks like a DAMN fun car.

Actually on topic, your GT makes a wonderful photo companion to that bad Lambo. Both are very tastefully done up cars.
