P.S of course what they were doing was pretty dangerous, but certainly no more dangerous than the litany of idiots I see drinking coffee, eating a donut, reading a paper, steering with their knees at 56mph in the fast lane every morning...

why doesnt channel 7 do a story about how no on in the city of detroit stops at red lights, ive seen it happen tons of times

I agree 100%. If we are going to get pissy over a few guys doing some creative driving, then we should get even more pissed at all the ACCIDENTS (that's right there was no accident here was there?) that happen because of people talking on cell phones, doing makeup, just flat-out not knowing how to drive, etc. I passed someone on 696 and I saw them reading the newspaper...WTF??

They were doing us all a favor by minimizing their time on the roads helping to create a safer driving environment for everybody...just like a shot you want the pain to be over with fast and they were fast!

he said the streets around here are not safe for legal speed yet alone 100+ mph, yeah i am sure they have better drivers there, but just because he said he was doing 95 in traffic doesn't make it safe. Thats like saying lets get 8 cars going east on I-94 all stay at 100 mph just because the people driving stay at that speed doesn't make it safe. There no way I-94 is safe to be going 140-160 mph and your a moron if you think it is. yeah both those cars in the video are capable of going those speeds and handling the road, but the point is that they were doing it through traffic which is going anywhere from approx 65-80 mph. That is not safe period!!! What would you have said if they would've hit a car changing lanes like that and it caused a fatal accident??? don't get me wrong those cars are EXTREMELY impressive, but they also put alot of peoples lives in danger by doing it.
 
yep you know they will. yet no one ever thinks about the fact that they closed detroit dragway. and you know they'll call it street racing or drag racing, even though its road racing sorta, but not street racing...,
