The Z06 is sold!! What to get next??

My perspective is probably skewed since I grew up in Europe, wanting an American car... but to me there's just no contest... I'd go with that 700hp GT500! And if I couldn't get my hands on one of those, I'd settle for the Corvette. ;)

the 2007 Shelby GT500's can barely hook with 4XXHP, that thing might as well sit in a garage, because any application other than 1/2 throttle or impressing the local mcdonald's employees, is null and void.

Don't the Gallardos run like 122 mph in magazine testing? I have heard from a friend that clutch swaps are frequent in Lambo's.
 
Thanks guys. Although the 725 bhp Supersnake is nice, my choice will be between the SS and Galardo..;)
 
corvette ss.........galardo looks great in my opinion, but all around performance and good looks, plus the prestiege (because i dont think you will see many corvette ss on the road) would make me want the corvette.
 
I would say to get neither.

The Super Snake ans the Vette SS or whateve they are going to call it are going to be awesome cars. the negative to living in Detroit is that you are going to see more of them here, then anywhere else. Losing some Exclusivity of a car that price.

The Lambo is not ideal for that style of driving, and winning anyway. The car is an exotic and is geared differently. Also a freid of mine works at an exotic place in LA, and these come in all the time for wrks he says.

For the money your talking, I would get a Saleen, or the new Porshe GT2 or three.

ok here's my 10:42 take :lol: lambo if you want to impress everyone's 5 y/o...SS if you want thumbs from ppl in the know
 
You know i was going to post get the lambo but i started thinking about it more and more and that SS is going to be pretty bad ass as well. The lambo will get you more looks but the SS will win you more races. Besides I would be pissed off if i lost to a neon or some turbo civic or something.

So my vote is the SS

Thanks guys. I think another reason too why the Gallardo popped up in my mind is because I have owned 2 Corvettes and a Viper now, and i thought a change would be nice but damn, you guys are influencing my opinion otherwise, lol.
