the new iPhone

I think hes referring to how many car stereos sync up with the iStuff. Hes right, Droids dont let you do this, you need to run the headphone out on the Android phone to the AUX input on the car stereo. It doesnt sync through USB. That was my experience anyway.

I have always used Bluetooth without any problems.

Justin's truck doesn't have Bluetooth streaming. I have to admit my wifes Galaxy S3 REALLY pisses me off that it wont mount as storage and requires some janky Samsung shit to get anything on or off of it lol

Correct, the only way I can get my tab 10.1 to play music in my truck is with headphone out and it's a pain in the ass, and sounds like shit. For whatever reason, in the GMCs it doesn't support droid with the USB. I know on other sites this is a problem with other car manufactures as well, you'd think with the popularity of droid more car makers would support droid.

USB audio is relatively new to Android. Native 4.1 devices will have no trouble passing audio through USB. Its the 4.0 and under devices that require you to use a cable from the headphone port.

Are you talking about mass storage? It should just require the drivers. Unless you're using a mac, then who knows what you need.

And I don't even have to stand in line to get it.

Tom's hardware just did some research and found that almost everyone standing in front of apple stores so far are being paid to do it or are doing it to promote their own business because of the coverage that it gets. Most normal people will show up the day before/of. I don't care if gazelle is giving me an iPhone 5 and taking care of my meals, I'm not standing in front of a store for a week.

Ice Cream Sandwich did away with USB Mass Storage and moved to Media Transfer Protocol. There were a few reasons but the big one that I took away from it was that when the device was connected via UMS, the volume was essentially locked out from access by any other device, including the phone itself. For phones that use a partition of the internal storage as the SD card, your phone would be locked up and useless while connected to your vehicle.

Cliff Notes: Justin should have bought something with Bluetooth (like an F150 with Sync).

Went to AT&T this morning, had plenty 5's in stock, but I got the email that mine shipped while in the store. Ha damnit

Just ordered my 32GB phone from Apple store online, and picking it up tomorrow at somerset.

They update their inventory every night at 10pm. so it looks like they hold stock for online orders for instore pickup.

If you're ordering online why not have it over-nighted to the house? That's what AT&T did for me - no cost for the over-night shipping either.
