the new iPhone

I really like my unlocked , no contract 350.00 nexus, that doesnt require a proprietary charging cable, and has completely functioning google maps , SUCKAS !!!!! Apple products USED to be the best of the best but lately they have chosen litigation instead of innovation. Up until the iphone 4, apple was pretty far ahead of android . Then they started with the lawsuits and decided to release the 4s. Really ? Thats the best apple could come up with ? Already behind the 8 ball in camera tech, 4g tech, nfc , screen size , picture tech, ect . Then they included a bitch named after tom cruises daughter . Really ? Year old tech with a BETA version voice assistant ? Every iphone owner i knew said " ehhh, the iphone 5 will blow away any android device. " I was really hoping for that . I think competition improves the breed not lawsuits and finger pointing. So i watched as the parts were being snuck out and assembled. Then the 5's announcement. I felt sorry for the ipeople. Year old tech AGAIN and another BETA program . And a beta program that currently is less functional than the program it replaced was in 2008 ! Apple could have been cool and offered that program in the app store in its current state and had a campaign for people to help refine and modify it. People could say " look mommy, im just like a real apple employee. "
I dunno, i have 4 friends that have the 5 and the magic is gone. The gloating has been replaced with " the maps will get better, just like Siri did" . They used to snicker and say
" you see my new iphone? " I almost had to beg my buddy to see his. His response " Fuck it, its just a phone" .

I keep losing service. I havent checked to see if it's a iOS6 thing yet. Other than that I've seen no bugs.

I don't have a phone, but Steph does and she's not complained about service. Though using Facetime is now useless. Before 6 it worked flawlessly, now I keep getting an error about the connection quality. Despite running 30 MPS and having no problems doing ANYTHING else via the internet. There's all sorts of complaining on the Apple Forums about it.

Obviously Maps was a bust too.

My facetime on my iPad 2 and 3 and Steph's iPhone all get that same error. My parents have the same problem with their iPad 3 and iTouch. My sister has the same problem on her 2 iPad's. Obviously since it works on yours it must be working.

Here's 10+ pages of reported problems with imessenger.

Your logic doesn't make remote sense sometimes.

I was wrong. Looks like it's kind of both Apple and Verizon's fault.

So why does Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III, a 4G LTE phone, juggle calls and data? Samsung added an extra antenna so that it pulls data from the 4G LTE network at the same time that it’s using another antenna to do voice, said Anand Shimpi, editor in chief of AnandTech.

Then why didn’t Apple add another antenna? It actually already has two antennas in an effort to improve reception, and it would have had to add a third antenna just for Verizon and Sprint phones to give them simultaneous data and calls, Mr. Shimpi explained. Leaving that third antenna out allows Apple to simplify its manufacturing process of the iPhone for multiple carriers. Plus, in the next two years the 4G LTE network is supposed to evolve to support voice calls, which would render another antenna unnecessary later.

Sir. Quit twisting the facts. AT&T iPhone can surf and talk. Verizon you can't. :). That's why I said AT&T has the advantage over Verizon

Except for the fact that its coverage blows. So yes, if you can find consistent service it works.
