The New Guy!

Nothing special. An 87 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with mostly suspension mods. I'll try to dig up some pics. Be warned, it ain't too pretty.

EDIT:

I found a couple... the car has been lowered since this pic though

Here's a link to my project car, my 85TC. Progress has been pretty stagnant due to funds, personal matters and due to the fact that it is in Alabama (where I'm from).

Any plans for it?

Finish up the suspension so I can drive it on the daily. So far I have done:

5-Lug conversion (Mark VII Rotors Front, SN-95 Stang Parts rear)
SN-95 Tri-Bar Wheels
FRPP Tbird/Cougar Lowering Springs
Bullitt Stang Tokico Shocks/Struts
Shock Mount Adapters
MM Caster/Camber Plates
MM Solid Rack Bushings
Flaming River Steering Shaft
TrickFlow Axle Girdle
Ranger Roller Cam
...some other crap I can't think of

To be installed soon:
HPM MegaBite Jr RLCAs
SN-95 Front Brakes w/PBR Calipers
FRPP Cobra Front Control Arms
KB SFCs
3-Inch Single Exhaust
Gillis Boost Control Valve
...

Sometime down the road I would like to upgrade the turbo to a .60/.63 T-3 and possibly a FMIC, but that's about it. This thing needs to be reliable so I'm not going to mod it that much. I plan on redirecting my time (and money) to my 85TC. In short I plan on doing the MM Maximum Grip Box, 347 stroker, and 5-speed conversion to it. But that is years away.

Are you bringing the 85 up from Bama?

Haven't decided... it's warmer down there. :D

Plus I have a bigger more capable (heated) garage done there. Not to mention friends and family to help me out. But if we find a house with a nice garage I may bring it up. But it's in pieces a the moment, so for a good while it's going to stay.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody.
