Joe dont even waste your time with this loser, once again he is living in the past and living through other peoples cars. We do what were good at, he pays people to do what their good at. I'm not going to waste anymore time with this kid or this ball sukcing friends. Can you read? Pat and myself did everything on his chassis (including welding, bending bars, etc), motor (minus machining of course), turbo kit, etc. We will be doing the same on my new setup (old setup we did probably 95% of everything for reference). I bet you didn't weld your own cage in so we could say you're paying someone to do what they are good at as well. Hell didn't Team Z or somebody do an anti-roll bar for you as well? Pot calling the kettle black? No one can do every tiny detail of their car but if you can afford to have good people do good work because you don't have time or tools then I don't see anything wrong with that. Only the slow guys will cry about paying someone to do something for you.

Stop making excuses and start making fast passes FOR ONCE!

Why would you put the kid down for aiming high and accomplishing his
degree while also working full time?
He also started a grant for less fortunate kids at Lawrence Tech I think.
Seems like pretty admirable stuff to me.
If you guys don't like the kid that's cool, but his achievments and ambition
should be an example, not a reason to try to tear him down.

dont take it out of context i also called him a tall skinny big nose kid who never got laid in high school,he may be a great kid but he is talking some serious shit on hear ,and that might not be a good idea

Vince Mike Moran built all the motors for Rob Golobo when he had a nitrous motor and usually Rob would seat the rings by making a motor pass so its just what i know.

I am not a 21 year old kid and yes I pay to have my engines built. They work better if somebody else builds them. I am not a god unlike other people on this board. And yes it probably cost more then other people have payed. Your point is what?

You pay to have it done by someone who makes a living build motors and you go faster. Hey what a concept!!! But we go slow and build our own junk which makes us better! Get it now??? lol!

first off homer you don't know me so please be careful what you say!!my point is this wheres the pride to dropping 10-15 000 any one can do that what you don't like a challenge and before you get your panties in a bunch no i'm not a kid and yes i do my own shit and no i wont race you cause i have a 10 sec car and i'm not in your league, everyone one on hear is afraid to give some respect fast is fast and you can go as fast as your wallet will let you ..

You don't bother me at all. You haven't really spouted off about a bunch of things that you have no idea about (like monte/wheelz talking about my car) so I have no problem with you at all.

I agree fast is fast but monte talks shit and can't back it up. That's the issue here.
 
At the end of the day, most of us are "hobbiests" who build their old
stuff on a limited budget and go as fast as that budget or our technical
knowledge will allow.

Real race car drivers have professionals building their engines. Why?
Because they need every advantage they can get to be competitive.
I know I can't build as good an engine as Chris Uratchko or Jeff Lukovich.

My shit will be as fast as most, slower than some.
My engine will be assembled by me, my chassis by a paid professional.
I'll have fun with it and that's what it's all about.

I don't talk shit 'cause I learned when most of you boys were in diapers
there is always a faster car and bigger wallet out there.:ohnoes:
