You might not even need a sub with all of that...the Cornies will dig down into the high 20Hz range when room gain is taken into consideration

Where should i put my rear surround speakers
So I picked up a Denon AVR1612 a few weeks back. I had some white van speakers that actually sound pretty decent. I'm not a big music guy just watch a lot of movies. Ive got a jbl ps120 sub that shakes the house better than I ever expected it to. I'm gonna add a center channel and some rear surrounds and I'm not exactly sure where to put them, or if it even matters. I'm gonna put the center channel just below the TV where the xbox is sitting now. My AVR has the audessey mic so im assuming it matter even less where I put them? Any suggestions is appreciated.

You just missed the boat on that one. Logitech had the Squeezebox line of players, and discontinued them a couple of months ago. Now they go for double or triple what they used to cost new
. I stream all of my music with a Squeezebox Duet, works great. If you can find a Duet, Touch, or Classic, I highly recommend it. There was really no rhyme or reason. The Squeezebox Duet and Touch were the #5 and $6 selling music players on Amazon, after the iPod Touch and a few other things. Logitech made a killing off of it. They released a product in place of it, called the Squeezebox Radio, and its an inferior product. It needs an internet connection to work, as its mostly an internet radio player. The local file support is passable, but blows in comparison to Squeezebox Server. The Squeezebox Touch will play high resolution 24/96 lossless audio, as well as your typical mp3, ogg, and various Apple formats. It also does internet radio, you can stream from all the local stations plus any other station broadcasting over the internet. Id have to say, my Squeezebox Duet is the best addition Ive ever made to my stereo. You just cant beat the convenience, and the sound quality is great too. While the sound quality isnt that of a top of the line CD player, its probably better than what most people may already have. Heres my Duet and my Benchmark DAC1.

Id take your mains and spread em out. It looks like a fair distance from the couch to the TV. At that sort of distance, all 3 front channels mesh together, and it becomes more mono. Generally, you want to form an equilateral triangle between you and the front mains. Youll get a much bigger sound field, and a better positional effect.

And what about the rear surround? Ear level mounted on the wall facing each other? Also, its 13 feet from speakers to rear of couch so maybe ill try moving them further apart from each other.

Great deal on a Fisher 400 tube receiver. These are getting very rare, and often go for double on eBay fully restored. Restoration kits are readily available. Its only about 20WPC, so your speakers should be atleast 90dB 1W/m. These are one of the best receivers for Klipsch speakers.
