aka Johnny Rifleseed, spreading gunliness
Over the years I have owned >30 different AR15's and AR10's. Heavy barrels, carbines, pistols, M4's, 3-gun rigs, varmint rigs, highpower setups and pistol caliber carbines.
Not till yesterday did I own a Government Model A2. Always wanted one but never had the right one come available for a deal.
Here it is;
Bushmaster AR15-A2
20" 1/7 Govt Profile (light under HG)
A2 sights, elevation and windage adjustable for 800yds
A2 round handguards and longer A2 buttstock
A2 Pistol grip
Lower receiver features A2 strength enhancements, raised mag fence
A2 5 slot flash suppressor
Bayonet Lug (nearly impossible to find on a Colt A2)
RRA Match trigger
Cleaning kit in buttstock
Silent Sling
It goes along with my other standard config, COLT SP-1
20" 1/12 Pencil bbl
A1 Sights
A1 pistol grip
Slabside A1 lower receiver
6-slot A1 Birdcage brake
Bayonet Lug
A1 Triangle handguards
The Colt SP-1 had been my favorite config till now, very light and accurate, never jams unlike so many of the other brands I have owned.
1965 Guns and Ammo add for Colt SP-1
Also have a Lightweight Carbine AR15 for my son. It is a custom receiver from a group purchase on www.assaultweb.com
16" 1/9 Pencil bbl
A2 Flash Suppressor
M4 6-pos Collapsible stock
Flat top upper receiver
DPMS detachable A2 ear sight
RRA Match trigger
Weight is 5lbs 10oz, just right for a skilled 10yr old. He was at "the pit" breaking clay targets set up on the hill from offhand standing position. Broke 10 of them but also did 3 in a row on video. Not many adults can do that. Personally I think it is bullshit that he can't take it for show-and-tell but that is just me. All the other 5th graders would really dig that skull engraving.:icon_mrgr
Try explaining what SHTF means without using any PG-13 words.
The lower receiver;
All three together;
If you have an AR15 throw up a few pics and a description.
