tap question

i had a spark plug jumping around unscrewed and loose between a coil pack and the engine block, ruined a thread or two on the block. should i just run a tap through it then change the oil?

If you know the thread pitch, I can hook you up with a tap to borrow. I am not experienced with these motors- is it a metric plug? If so, ou can probably install a heli-coil.

I have that Timcert Kit. It fucking sucks. It is $120 per cylinder and no guarentee it'll hold. Best thing to do is replace the head.

i have no idea what the thread pitch is. this is shitty because its my only DD.
im guessing that i need to remove the head?
im screwed if a tap doesent work.

which one do i need?

Do yourself a favor. Replace the head. The problem I have doing them is half the time the aluminum is so oxidized that it crumbles as you tap it.

Of if your are determined to reuse the head. Remove the head and have a Time cert proffessionaly installed.
