Talk about a bad day...fatal on I-96

I don't let my kids play outside alone and they are 9 , 7 and 5 I feel like If I'm not watching them something could happen and it would be my fault. That's why I gave up a lot of my hobbies - So I could spend more time with them and their new hobbies.

I think someone would expect any parent to do that, does it happen all the time?; hell no. I see kids that have to 1.5/2, barley walking good, running around the neighbor hood on front lawns unattended daily during the summer; its obsured.

So how is it people (not insinuating you) thinks its not the parents fault if a two year old gets hit by a car for being in the street.

You just said the same thing as Stalker just with more words. Did you even read the post previous to this one I made? I think you just blasting stuff attempting to argure but your brain cannot process wtf your trying to say as fast as your trying to type it.

Where did I say anything about telling your kid? I said being out there with your kid to prevent such actions physcially.

Your post went through before i got mine in, so sorry oh chosen one!! I did not mean to piss you off like you have done to everyone else

So riddle me this batman, why are you too ignorant to at least show some compassion for what the original post involves? And to not speak so sickly about the deceased?

lol I'm not pissed, why is it you think I'm pissed? Just making a apoint and you assume I'm upset. I can debate without ego and emotions getting in the way.

Not to ignorant to show, I felt/feel the lady caused her death by her actions. Why is it you expect me to to follow suit and respond how everyone else does Mr. Sheep?

Yeah it happens all the time. That is one of the main reasons I moved out of the subdivision. All of the parents let their kids run loose. They would cross the street without looking and everyone ended up in my yard. Next thing you know I'm watching 10 kids that aren't mine plus mine while the parents watch foot ball one guy was playing PS2 or whatever else they did with their doors closed and a/c on. So if one got hit if would have been their fault but I would have still felt horrible so I tried to do what I could. Glad I moved for sure

Well i know i set you off in some way to go on the wtf rant and saying I am unable to comprehend.

You know? Really, how do know this? By reading a post on the internet, which it is impossible to read emotion, sarcasm, ehtusiasm ect... thru, how can I learn this skill? You cannot judge someones emotion state with out voice or face to face interation.

I posted what I did because you made the exact same statement as someone else right after they had.

example so you understand.

A two year dosnt run fast in relation to a adult:

You see your kid starting to move in a direction towards the street, you then proceed to intercept the child thus preventing them from entering the street. This may damn well be repiticous (sp) until the child is at age where they mentally know not to do so.
In your world things are black and white. In the real world they are not. Can't put it into simpler terms for you.

Let me ask you an honest question. Had you dad dies from his ATV accident, would you have labeled it natural selection at it's best because it was obviously a poor decision on his part(what was written) or an unfornunate accident that obviously could have been prevented? I'm honsetly curious how you think about it then?

Let's not forget about the 2 cars that hit this lady. And the drivers who are now affected also.

My buddy's wife was the second car that ran her over. She had her kids plus her nephew in the van with her and two older kids know exactly what happened (old enough to know it was a person). The kids are having a harder time dealing with it than she is. The lady came out from under a trailer that the suv was towing and there where cars on both sides so she had nowhere to go except over her, figure she was already dead by that point. The corvette was not smashed against the median it was just against it, so she would had to have gotten out the passenger door. Why she decided to cross the road don't know only thing we could think of is that she was drinking and did not want to be with the vehicle when the police showed up. Not saying she was drinking it is the only thing I could give a logical reason for her to cross the freeway.

alright im making a return to the thread for a minute....I have no idea what I would do if A. I saw it happen in another car or B. if I was driving the car that hit her. How is your buddy's wife doing?

Wow. I can't begin to imagine what they are going through. Hopefully they seek a professional to help them deal with this :(

Im his buddy and my wife is pretty messed up about it. She has issues getting behind the wheel of the van I just bought her. I cant return it, so for the next five years, shes going to get a grim reminder of what she went through.

I dont care who you are,...All of us have done dumb shit,..and after the little jokes here and there, shes no different than any of us.

She ran across the freeway,..Most of us DRAG race,.....

People could say the same about any of you. Dumbass deserved to die, what the hell does he need to go 150MPH for anyway, he had a death wish. Its OK to poke a little fun, its how I cope, but shes no more Dumb than any of you, or myself for that matter. Her luck just wasnt with her that day like it was for all of us.

igotaneed4speed,........youre a douche. I know why you do it,..for the attention. I get it. Keep jumping on boards, saying off the wall and rude stuff so people respond, its the attention you crave. Its not your fault, you were just imbred that way.
