Strange rear disc brakes on a Ford 8.8"

Has anyone ever used the Strange rear disc brake kits on a Ford 8.8" ?

I have Stranges axles + c-clip eliminators on my 92 hatch so their kit would work out easily for me.

I guess my big question is how well these work vs. stock rear drum brakes?

I have 13" cobra brakes up front so I'd like to have some balance between the front and the back.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

SonicZ drives his on the street and he thinks he warped the rotors. Now there are the really thin race brakes. Not sure how the inbetween kit works. I did a swap on all 4 wheels last year and man they work great, didn't even have to pull the chute going 155+mph.

Yeah, I was looking at the 'economy' kit that has solid thicker rotors.

Keep in mind these will just be in the rear and I'll have monster cobra brakes up front. I just don't think the rear drums are worth a shit.

Rear drums are not worth a shit. I dont have the strange ones, but I have strange axles/c-clip eliminators, and the aerospace rear kit. Very nice. Just get a prop valve to adjust bias. Hell, I think my aerospace rears are bigger than the SVO front rotors LOL!!! I think I went with the aerospace stuff cause it was a little cheaper. I dont DD my car though. I dont think they would hold up to that also being thin like the strange brakes.

Anyone running the explorer rear disc setup on their 8.8? I'm going to 9" ends and Strange axles on my 8.8. Thinking about putting rear discs on mine too.
