ST HELENS 4th ANNUAL ATV JAMBOREE - Aug 10-12

My inlaws have a cabin up there, so there will be about 14 of us. I'm debating just riding the trails (kawa) with friends and family, or racing (banshee). Not sure yet.

The trails are WIDE and usually dusty. The main trails are groomed and are not whooped out.
you can ride right up town, grab food, gas, beverages, and then go ride out to the trails etc... about 2 months ago we put 78 miles on our quads in a one day trip to Prudenville.

It will be a good time. And if you have little kids with ATV's, there is a lot for them to do.

Calling all ORVs !! The St. Helen Chamber of Commerce is calling all ORVs to St. Helen for our fourth annual ATV Jamboree. The major events will be held in their own time slot & awards will be presented shortly after the conclusion of the event. The Sand Run will be returning this year. The Sand Run is have both sport ATVs, SXS's, and Dirt Bikes. The Mud Bog, ATV Pull, & Kids Rodeo will be held same as last year. ORV Training will be coming back this year. Most events will be held at the Richfield Township Park. A lot of fun & laughs for the entire family. Visit www.sainthelenchamber.net for pictures of last years event. Just some of the action planned:

Scenic - Scenic Rides will be laid out for those that simply want to enjoy the woods.

Kids Rodeo – The Rodeo will involve several events: Obstacle Course, Barrel Push, and Balloon Burst. Prizes will be awarded. Participants will be required to sign waiver for this event.

Mud Bog – What do you get when you mix water, dirt, & an ORV?? A great spectator event !! Use your imagination. Prizes will be awarded. Participants will be required to sign waiver for this event.

ATV Pull – The “Humbler” will be available to test the pulling power of your ATV. Prizes will be awarded. Participants will be required to sign waiver for this event.

Silent Auction - Items for bid will be displayed at the Township Park Pavilion.
