I have a 93 notch with aftermarket lower arms and the comp engineering frame/axle tie. FOr some reason last week I started to get a rub on my driver side tire...275/45/17 mt street ets...any idea what might be causing this problem? I have to get it fixed before i shred a tire.

Hey man remember me? I was up next to you on maple around midnight last wednesday and you told me about the problem. I wish I could help, but my knowledge of our cars isn't up there yet.

it only does it when making right turns...not when launching. The left side is sitting about 1.5 inches lower than the right at this time...just wondering if anyone could help me with a quick fix/check before i go blowing money on new springs; which might not even fix the problem.

need to put it in the air and look at it.

do you have spring isolators in there?

I work part time in the auto center at sears (briarwood) and we do free suspention eval's. bring it by before 1pm friday and we'll see if we can see whats happening.

unfortunately i keep the car in storage way out in waterford and the car never sees ann arbor...goes to milan via trailer so i cant get it out there. i will take it over to the sears in waterford and have them check it out if them do em for free...thanks for the tip

Take it to Sean at CARS (sponsor here) out there in waterford.

Refresh your page until you see his banner up top, he'll help you out.

Check your upper axle bushings and upper control arm bushings. Also, check your isolaters. Over time they dry rot, crack and can seat your spring lower on the perch causing what you described. I went through the same thing earlier in the year and fixed the problem by replacing all of the above.
