So I went to Belle Tire in Roseville yesterday...

I came there with 4 loose slightly used 17in tires (2 of thes tires I bought of someone off here, thanks Sky) and 4 new 17in zo6 wheels. I wanted them mounted and balanced.... Not even needed to be installed on the car. I mentioned to the guy I posted on Motownmuscle.

Cost would have been $150 :eek5:  :scared:

man I used to bust tires back in the day, never thought the price for 4 mount and balance not even on a car would have been that much....

I paid less elsewhere

I've used that location quite a few times without issue. I don't think any Motown members work at that store.

You didn't do it the right way... That's why you didn't get a hook up...

I'm on good social terms with my old high school instructor.. So If I need stuff like that done I just go in there and do it my self or my lil brother goes and does it for me.

That and same thing with my college instructor.. I can use the shop and tools whenever.. like on thrusday I'm taking my car to do the alignment there.. its nice.

I had gone to this Belle Tire once before in January and they cleaned some corrosion off some Cadillac wheels for a very fair price.

I wasnt looking for a hook-up, just a fair price

$150 for 4 loose mount and balance....... crAzy

I wanted them done, so I paid $107 at Sears autocenter, and I got to assist on making sure they were done right.

You are NOT a paying member. Plus, no one knows you.

Did that include the "Certificates" they try to sell you? I just can't imagine why it would have been that much.

that belle tire sucks... ive gone in there twice and the guy at the front counter was a dick and talked to me like i was an idiot both times... fuck that place id never go there again

I just saw this so I'll try to help clear some things up. A normal size tire mount and balance is $18/tire right now. With customer supplied wheels and tires however, there are certain things you need to take into consideration obviously. I won't defend the other store but I won't say they were wrong either. In my opinion the price is a little high though... If you would have contacted myself, Joe or Jason we would have gladly helped you out. As someone else has already pointed out, you have 12 posts on here (as of this post) Not that you don't deserve a Motown discount because you are an un-paid member, but walking in there and saying you post on Motown Muscle didn't do much of anything for you. Had you read anything on here or posted anything on a semi-regular basis you probably would have understood this. None the less, I do apologize that things didn't go your way. I hope this doesn't deter you from going back to Belle Tire. I've been to other places and I do feel we employ some of the best people in the business. Sure anyone can throw a 14" tire on a steel Honda wheel, but when you get people who are more particular and have nicer stuff it obviously changes the game. Often times there is someone who guys up front prefer to have work on the nicer stuff. I'm an assistant manager at my store and went out back to work on a '98 Lamborghini Diablo last week. Not my cup of tea for the car, but the point stands that the owner of said car was leaving with a guaranteed job well done. Anyhow, if you ever need anything at a Belle Tire again, tires or otherwise, feel free to call one of us who are on here before and we'll take care of you.

Belle Tire is a sponsor of the website, but not all of our stores are aware of this. Joe and I pushed to get this sponsorship through our company and really only got it through our two stores. I'm sure I speak for him, but we would gladly call another store to try to see if we can help you with the costs of things. I will say 99% of the time we make it more than worth your while to make the trip to one of our stores. Some of you may have saw what I posted a couple weeks ago about getting everyone's phone numbers to pull up account history. This is to try to get a company wide sponsorship and see what else I can get them to do for us on MM.

I can't defend the actions of every store for every situation. Just like anyone we do make mistakes. If and when they happen I'll be glad to do everything in my power to make things right. If anyone has questions feel free to PM one of us or just post up...we'll gladly answer questions.

How does one get that deal?:secret:

Talk to Me, Jenga (Joe) or Murph (Jason)

You're thinking of Discount. Belle doesn't do anything with "certificates" and I'm not sure if those work on tires you bring in or not..? Not knocking them or anything (or you for all that matter) more just saying so everyone knows.

you shoulda went to D-Tire! Belle is always full of crap I used to work there!

Maybe there's good reason you don't work there. You're basing your biased opinion on how your employment experience went at one store. We have over 65 retail locations on top of other commercial stuff we do. So no, Belle tire isn't full of crap. It's actually one of the most fair companies I've worked for. You get what you put into it.
