Stinger1982

Stinger1982 is the Stig
on short notice I needed 4 slicks mounted up for a track day on saturday, the store was jumping when I got there and they still got me out the door in lik 35 minutes!!!

EVEN THOUGH RYAN HAD LEFT FOR THE DAY! (I told them to call youa slacker, they responded that you were kinda the boss andthey would not be relaying the message)

The counter guy even knew all about my car already and asked if I knew the guy in the TT Camaro, I asked what color he said "Orange and it recently caught in fire" I BUST out laughing and and say "oh Tony!!!!!!!"

Thanks again guys. Even though the new store is sooooooo far from my house (grosse pointe to great lakes crossing) its well worth the drive.

THANKS!

 They must have heard me jokingly ask Tony about his recent mishap, haha. To clarify, Tony has an extremely nice car and everyone was impressed.

I was supposed to close today but ended up having to open instead so I left at 5. I told the one guy you were coming and what the deal was.

I've worked at the new store for 3 days now and have already had 3 of you guys up there. Lars is coming up tomorrow so that's 4 for 4. Thank you guys for bringing me your business. The new store is a little slower than the last one I was at so I'm going to do what I can to fix that. You guys are certainly helping.

Oh, and the time it takes to get to this store is about the same as the other one for 99% of the people on here. If you're coming up I75 it's just as quick to stay on for another 5 miles than it is to go down 59 and up Rochester. Distance wise it's a couple more miles and it's in a goofy location behind the Meijer, but not too bad.

I tried to get to you from Rehagen Racing (Livonia) and telegraph is FUCKED so I took 275->M5->Orchard lake->telegraph->some back road->Baldwin road->etc

They were very impressed with Tony's car, i just laughed at how he tried to get me to remeber it.

The location is hella visable from 75 but what a CLUSTER to find it in the maze of parking lots LOL!

Pretty much. You turn in the Meijer parking lot and just head past their building and we're just on the other side. We need our own entrance/exit ramp. Maybe exit 83 1/2 can be Belle Tire Dr.

Yeah thanks for the alignment Ryan! The car really needed that. And this is pretty sad that it is now known for catching fire in my garage. But at least it's back on the road. Well sorta. I gotta fix a few more small things.

Ryan, when that turnbuckle snapped, it didn't hit anything under there, did it? I have a drip coming from somewhere under the front of the engine. Gotta get under there today to try to root cause it. And gonna get my battery checked. It likes to act like it's dead sometimes.... May be time to replace it.

It didn't hit anything. It broke so quick there really wasn't much pressure on it at all, it just kind of fell to the ground.

What's the battery do when it "acts dead"?? Is it during start up only?

Nice location, good food within 50 feet... posting this from applebees while waiting :D

OK, thanks Ryan. I think my water pump may be starting to wear out. It's only 4yrs old if I remember correctly. Better check into the warranty I had on that when I replaced it.

Yeah sometimes the car would start fine. Sometimes it would barely start. And sometimes it would only click the solenoid like the battery was dead. No problems today after the new battery. Gotta love a warranty! Didn't cost me a thing. :D

Heck yeah! Ashley & I had our lunch there while we waited for those guys. They got a good workout getting my alignment back into spec. ;)
