Since Granholm is the projected winner...

Maybe its because at my house theres tons of birds, quite a few doves, and they're healthy... Never seen one die or dead.. If you're going to legalize dove hunting, lets just make a season on every animal *shrug*

next they'll want to hunt dogs

Have you ever ate a morning dove?

Do you realize hunting them in the OTHER 40 states, it has NO effect on their population?

This is a hunting state. It is very important here.

Why manage the population, let the doves starve to death, thats a lot better than harvesting them to eat.

:puke:

Jesus, I'll never understand. Eat a dove, there's no meat on them. I didn't even know that michigan had doves, are doves white. Like the soap right:D

BTW, like i said before, im not a hunter (cause im damned impatient) but have nothing against them, venison FTMFW!

How many doves have you ate? How many have you hunted? Thats like saying not to eat shrimp, because there isnt a lot of meat on them. Or not to eat perch, because there isnt a lot of meat on those. People eat shrimp everyday, and if you have ever prepared shrimp, from live to the dinner table, they are even more work that doves.

I'm not sure, i don't think i've had dove:lol: I've never hunted doves, honestly because i don't have the spare time. I prefer turkey, get a nice 22lbs, (already killed and with no feathers) Talk about eating, now that's good shit there. You gotta waste your whole day killing and plucking 4 dozen doves probally to get the amount of meat of a nice turkey at kroger.

shrimps, are good too. man i'm hungry now

Yup, As soon as I am handed my degree on december 16th, 2007, I'm heading out of this state. The plant I work at now is moving it's equipment out of state, and I don't feel like being a telemarketer for Google after spending a total of 4.5 years and over 120k on an engineering degree.

I'm sorry, but wait and see in 5 years the difference that will be made in this state??? I can't wait 5 years to find a decent job.

Well look on the bright side Erik, now we can vote for Ted Nugent in 2010.

Governor- Ted Nugent
LT. Gov.- Justin Williams
I wish Ted would have run this year

I'm not even an advid hunter but see no problem with it. I go hunting every now and then once or twice a year.
I probaly wouldn't hunt them myslf, but who am i to say what a man can and cannot feed his family.
If a man wants to feed his family dove then dove it is.
I see no harm in it and can only see good coming out of it.
1. Food
2. Revenue
3. Another thing the government can't tell me to do with my gun
4. More steaks at Krogers for me!!!

Seriously how can someone vote for Granholm with Michigan having one of the worst economies while the US as a whole thrives...

Because not everyone blames her for the problems with the Big Three. Very few of the problems with the domestic autos have anything to do with Michigan. We're hit hardest because we had more auto jobs.

So the same thing that is hurting us now has helped us for the last 50 years. I don't recall anyone complaining over the last 50 years as poor families were elevated out of poverty into the middle class by high paying union manufacturing jobs.

As for prop 2 - it looks to be a huge win. I worked the phones earlier today reminding everyone to vote yes on 2 and no on 5. :)

Voted Yes on Prop 2. :D

Affirmative Action was such BS. My interpretation is, Hey, your not smart enough, so we'll use your race/gender to give you headstart! Gives people of minority status the excuse not to excel, because they know they will get in to the univeristy or whatever, based on their race/gender.

I will say this...I am not a Granholm fan. I did not vote for her. Since she won, I will have to give her another chance. Hopefully this state makes some progress.
