Shelby GT800R 9-Second Track Pass Videos

Runs were made at full weight (4120 lbs. w/ driver), stock clutch, stock TR6060 trans, stock 8.8 w/ 3.73 ring & pinion, on a M/T 325/50/15 Drag Radial with 20's up front and Eibach lowering springs. It's a true driver, that also gets raced a lot.

I'm amazed a stock clutch and trans takes that abuse. Our 2010 Shelby was in the dealer for a new trans with 96 miles on the odometer and it was bone stock.

Ouch, that's not good! I had a clutch actuator switch go out on my '10 and upon further inspection they found a crack in the pedal assembly. They replaced the while thing.

The customer wanted to call it that. We're working on another one now that the customer either wants to call GT1000 or GT?

Those are Super Snake wheels. He is going to try skinnies Wednesday and maybe slicks too. Then it's coming back to us for a few winter mods and his buddy is sending his Shelby for a 2.9L Whipple.

I vote GT500M (modified). Shelby GT is a few steps below a GT500, just up from a Mustang GT, lol, unless he wants a sleeper.
