Service manuals - electrical schematics

Here's the background info. 2000 k3500 with 5.7/4L80 trans/manual shift t-case. I picked up a 2003 8.1/4L85/electric shift t-case combo that i'll be installing into the pickup, and I'd like to do everything to make it look/function as originally intended (save for gaining LOTS of torque in the 8.1, more on that later).

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some schematics for either/both vehicles. 8.1 came out of a heavy 3/4 ton pickup for reference. I need to decide if I can use my factory gauges and make them work, if I need to swap to a new cluster, what wiring in the truck needs to change, etc etc.

Yes, I have the PCM and harness from the 8.1. Haven't fully inspected it yet, but looks like I need a MAF sensor (delco pn 213-4160 or GM PN 15904068) found on 99-07 gas pickups, and a throttle pedal assembly and connecting harness (think i'm sticking with d-b-w).

Thanks guys (and gals :naughty1:)

Ryan

8.1 is newer body style (gmt800?) and mine is the gmt400 c/k truck.

I can probably do some digging to find them, but I currently do not have BCM, DBW pedal, cluster, MAF, etc.

I do have the engine/trans wiring harness, PCM and ETC modules, blah blah blah, but I haven't gone through to find out exactly everything I have/don't have at the moment.

what you need to do is find the wiring harness and ECM from a CK truck "not a silverado" with a 5.3 and you'll need the clutser and throttle cable. Getting the ETC to work might be a real challenge.

CK truck with a 5.3.....hmmm

Gen 3 5.3 (4.8, 6.0) trucks in the 800 platform did have a cable driven throttle, but aside from test mules, I don't know of any 88-98 style trucks with a 5.3 from the factory... Can you shed some more light on this???

Thanks,
Ryan
