I haven't had any experiences with much... But Blue Cross Build Shield PPOM is the best in my eyes...Fryguy302 said:And is it decent, and if you don't mind sharing, approximately how much does it cost?
Anyone ever hear of "Alliance for Affordable Services" ?
My mom works for BCBS and she'll even tell you that if you have to pay for it out of pocket there are many better choices out there.ReiKo said:I haven't had any experiences with much... But Blue Cross Build Shield PPOM is the best in my eyes...
After my leg injurt... My insurance nearly doubled... I am getting ready real soon to make the switch to BCBS...
Ask your mom which one is the best... I don't care about cost as long as it's under 1k...BigWheelinBubba said:My mom works for BCBS and she'll even tell you that if you have to pay for it out of pocket there are many better choices out there.

I pay ~$1000/mo for BCBS.
If you think you're going to get the same care out of providers with shitty insurance as those with better insurance you need a reality check.

Basically $355/mo with a $3k max deductable for hospitalization, and coverage for typical doctors visits. I'm just a little skeptical of the "max" deductable, and I want to make sure there aren't specific limits on certain procedures which are out of line with what they really cost. Kinda scared to trust any of these guys after doing some web searches.
