I'm not going to repost all of these pics so I'll just link you to my TooSlo FB page (make sure to hit the like if you are feeling it).
I didn't like how the S&W kit ran the rear braces all the way to the rear of the car eliminating the rear crumple zone so I used (and cut) the straight door bars to terminate above the axle, between the shock towers of which I will tie in eventually.
I used the "seat saver" rear braces for my door bars. To keep the strength I am going to see how it goes without swing-outs for now. (couple guys here have told me I'll develop a routine around them).
I've spent ALOT of time fitting this thing in here how I want it. The last cage I did was for my circle track car that I didn't give a crap how it fit or looked as long as it kept me safe, (which it did as proven when I was T-boned). On this one I am going for a good fit and safety so I am being rather picky. I can't count how many times I've tacked/cut/re-welded things in the last couple weekends working on it. The only regret I have is how I tied my subframe connectors in. I wish I would have triangulated them into the corner under the main hoop as TeamZ does, but it's a bit late for that now. :shake:
I won't be doing the final welding on this one as I did the circle track car, I'll be leaving that to someone who actually knows what the eff they are doing. Enjoy, and critique away gents.
And yes, I am still looking for seats for those of you I have contacted.
