Stop at Adams Archery, not far from New Boston they were great in setting up my bow for me. I bought a used Parker, sent it to Parker and had it redone, got a great bow for less than half the price of new, way more than i expected to have. I was trying to get into it cheap as it was my first bow and i wasn't sure if i would like shooting. They got me in, verified the draw length, and put all my accessories on and walked me through form and helped set up and tune the sight. I coudln;t have asked for a better service and the prices were good. After they got me all set up, they let me stay and shoot on the range.
Stuka, i have a QAD drop away rest and it seems a bit noisey. I have the one that doesn't bounce, i think it was the pro series. Anyway, since currently i only shoot for fun, but i may start hunting this fall. My question as a newbi, is there really that much of an advantage to this rest over a regular old style 2 finger rest? I don't have an issue where i need a captured rest. I don't like the whisker biscuits, do you have a recommendation for a decent rest that isn't a million dollars?
SOrry for the hijack.
