Remember when......

Been saying the same thing for a while. As others mentioned it's not just mm. I remember several years ago posting pics on ls1tech of my 4th gen and having 4-5 pages of replies every time I did. Last year I posted some new pictures and I think one person replied. Facebook and instagram and other social media sites have ruined forums.

I'm on here, YellowBullet and Xceedpseed but, I'm not much of a poster these days. I seem to like reading to learn more than posting to gain e-status.

Pre Facebook, us old farts went and interacted on message boards for social interaction. It's the basis of what caused us to start Motown Muscle way back in the day spinning off from the CamaroZ28.COM Michigan section. It's the same reason that people don't go out in the "real world" to interact, they have the world at their fingertips. Head out to what's supposed to be "busy" bar on a Monday/Thursday/weekend. "Back in my day" standing room only, shoulder to shoulder. Sites like the corral, mustangworld, camaroz28, etc are DEAD compared to what they once were.

Agree!

I was the lone Mustang guy... The guy with the slow good looking car that got all of the attention when we were out with a group of F-Bodies :D

Don't make me get the rake...

time to warm up your Pimp hand

It's not just F/B dont forget Tweets and Insta gram

Motown is my daily go to for automotive entertainment and it's when you post a question on here how fast you get the (Right) answer

The Motown Muscle facebook page gets more traffic than the site does sometimes I feel like.

It's mostly "for sale" or "looking for" ads though.

I use facebook about 90% for car and racing stuff. If you're not on it, you're definitely missing out on some racing news, some interesting automotive events, and deals on cars and parts.

Motown was pretty busy when I joined in 08. I have made a lot of good friends from this site so I tend to stick around. And like some of you guys I don't do the Facebook thing.

This. No Facebook for me, I've made some good friends through here, and there's a lot of people I enjoy conversing with. I'm looking forward to actually meeting some of you guys tomorrow.
