Red wings

they didnt change their strategy until the last minute of the game, pittsburg deserved this one.

we couldnt control the puck in their zone and we never brought the defensemen forward to help.

lidstrom has injured testicles(I think they had to sew them back in?!?!?)

then there is a neck injury, a charly horse, and something else

i guess patrick sharp in the chicago series had his stick in between lidstroms leg and decided to give him a bit of a how you do with his stick and it crushed one of his balls... insane how much that must have hurt..

That's why I love hockey. Not like those pussy baseball players who sit out because of a splinter. Greatest game ever invented.

Im not going to search to see if this was posted but disgraceful to say the least, not a good image for the penguins.
"Nick was waiting and waiting, and Crosby didn't come over to shake his hand. That's ridiculous, especially as their captain, and make sure you write that I said that!" -Kris Draper to A.P.

Further proof that Sidney Crosby is nothing but a child.

Crosby got caught up with some media & teammates that's why he missed the beginning of the line up. Not that big of a deal except to the losers, I remember Billy Smith goalie of the Isles NEVER shook hands.

its all good the embarassments on hossa leaving the pens to qoute win a cup with the wings but were the hell was he at in the finals or even the playoffs

and i hope they keep Helm around for a long time hes the next datsyuk
he can play physical take alot of bs and still make your jaw drop with his speed and stick handling

True that, everyone tried telling me how bad they felt for Hossa... but he didn't do shit the entire playoffs, i woulda felt bad if he held his own but he hardly contributed.

and Helm deffinantly has potential to become great, he worked his ass off and was a huge part of the team, its too bad not everyone on the wings gave as much as he did.

next year is going to be interesting.. there are alot of young guys in grand rapids that need to be in the nhl, so i see some veterans leaving.. Helm, Ablekader, leino, Ericsson, Jimmy Howard, all these guys need to see nhl time this coming year.. sorry to say it but i think maltby, holmstrom, samuelson all need to go.. i love homer, but he is a liability on the ice these days..

game 6: clearly the ref's were not making calls that they should have against the pens. zetty should have had that goal, and not hit the post, dumb shit.

game 7: we woke up with 12mins left, woop de doo, we deserve to lose. the first goal was a defensive mistake, not a surprise. the second goal was ossucks fault, let in a soft goal, he was way out of possition.

things the wings should do, let go of osgood, hossa, refalski(big pos on D)

i agree with you on the non calls... the refs called every stupid thing all year just to put the whistles away for the playoffs.. which is no surprise.. and the leauge got what they wanted this year....however the only way to beat bad calls is to score more goals... then the non calls dont matter...

however..

how could you say get rid of Osgood? He was the best player on the ice every single game in the playoffs...Malkin got the MVP only because he scored a bunch of goals the first couple of rounds...
