Whats gay as fuck is not only did the wings lose, My brothers girlfriends dad (a real wings fan) was ALL about the penguins after there first goal. He did wini himself 3 30 packs (he drinks busch light :puke:) And the whole game "go penguins red wings suck!" I wanted to punch the asshat in his mouth.


The Wings are still the shit.

Yea I couldnt believe that icing bullshit. That was a bettman special
 
game 6: clearly the ref's were not making calls that they should have against the pens. zetty should have had that goal, and not hit the post, dumb shit.

game 7: we woke up with 12mins left, woop de doo, we deserve to lose. the first goal was a defensive mistake, not a surprise. the second goal was ossucks fault, let in a soft goal, he was way out of possition.

things the wings should do, let go of osgood, hossa, refalski(big pos on D)
 
That sucked, Wings blew it big time. Offense wasn't there for 2 periods, can't do that in the post season for sure.

I'm not blaming this on age. Lidstrom didn't play poorly. But the defense and the penalty killing cost them this series. It's a shame because I thought Osgood played better than I've ever seen him over an entire playoff. Both goals last night were due to bad defense.

I do think they controlled the last half of the game. But the one thing I did notice was a lack of anyone in front of the net. Holmstrom makes his living there, but I rarely saw him planted there. I don't know if I credit the Penguins or if it offensive break downs.

You can blame this series on the officials. But just like football and basketball, reefs will more often than not swallow their whistle. Pittsburgh adjusted and the Wings did not.
 
There was no hussle for the first 50 minutes of play. I can't count how many times I saw a Wing skating or coasting while the puck flew past them. Passing blew. Our D was weak. Pitt may not have been the best team, but they were the team that put their heart into it and that's what mattered.
 
we lost they won it happens, Wings are still #1 to me, we went back to back and won 2 more cups since then and made the playoffs every year that says a lot about our team, it sucks but it just wasn't our year to win

its all good the embarassments on hossa leaving the pens to qoute win a cup with the wings but were the hell was he at in the finals or even the playoffs

and i hope they keep Helm around for a long time hes the next datsyuk
he can play physical take alot of bs and still make your jaw drop with his speed and stick handling
