reccomend me a gun holster

i have an XD9 sub compact. looking for a OWB holster that isnt real bulky. and preferrably something with a thumb release, for a lefty. ones ive found that i like dont fit my model or they dont have one for a lefty.

any suggestions on whats good that fits what im looking for? figured the motown military should be able to help.
 
I know that you specified OWB, but you might want to take a look at the Comp-Tac stuff. I carry my Sig 229 in an MTAC 10 hours a day minimum, and I love it. They have great customer service, and are all around great people to deal with.
 
My buddy doesn't know what brand it is at the moment, but he got it from firing line. Turns out he doesn't like it and plans to order a crossbreed (IWB).
 
I like Uncle Mikes paddle holsters. Cheap and they fit well. But I'm not sure if they come in lefty.

It comes with both the paddle attachment as well as a belt slide. It releases with your index finger not thumb but.... it's got carbon fiber!
 
I have a Crossbreed Supertuck. I may need pants with a bigger waist, but I am having a little trouble with printing. Anyone else?

honestly, minor printing is a minor worry anymore, most people don't notice anyway, lol


is that supertuck comfortable otherwise?
 
I think so. It doesn't feel so unnatural. Kind of expensive, but I like it.

If you buy one, use NRA as a discount code. It takes off 10%

that looks bad ass, how bulky is it though. im a pretty skinny guy and i dont wear real baggy shirts.

would like something that hugs me decently.

i was looking at the desantis last night, they have some nice ones i like

You're going to have to get an IWB holster if you're wearing shirts that tight.

they arent super emo small.

i put on the springfield holster that comes with my gun. its a pretty bulky holster and it sticks out far. i put it on my left side with my belt running on the outside and the holster between my pants and belt (if that makes sense) and it hugs me well. i did that just to see if it would be noticeable and its not. so im sure an OWB would be good as long as its not bulky where the gun is pushed out far.

Right on. The XD factory holster sucks. It's sloppy as hell.


copsplus.com has a lot of good holsters. I buy from there often.

Why not an IWB? Just curious. I carry my subcompact XD with a $10 uncle mikes holster. It's cheap and works just fine.
