Thanks. Shot them with this '82 Minolta XG-1 and Kodak Tri-X. My grandpa bought it for my dad in 1982, and I got it about 10 years ago. I recently started using it, and it's a lot of fun.
Any digital SLR in the last 10 or so years is going to give great results. Fuji and Sony are killing it in the P&S department. My digital camera is a 12 year old Canon 5d I paid $400 for. You really don't need to spend a bunch of money.

The reason I started shooting film is because of my nephew above. There will be an entire generation of kids without any baby picture of themselves. Phones go missing, photos get deleted to fee up space, hard drives crash, etc. That photo you have in a shoe-box of great aunt rita as a baby in 1926 was probably the only baby photo ever take of her, and you never met her....but it still exists.
