wooohooo finally purchased a SLR I have a Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera and purchased a few uv filters and a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens.

I wanted to THANK CHRIS and DIRTY FOR ALLLL there info on SLR's I cant wait to start taking pictures we need to go shooting sooon fellows =)

Although pick up a 18-55 IS real soon! You will find once you start shooting you will like to go wider! That sounds like a nice setup to get things going for sure though!

Lucky, the lighting setup looks nice...maybe a bit much..hahaha..but nice for sure! The mini pic looks sweet though!

I have a sunpak 373 that i received for free. Im just waiting on some wireless triggers to start playing around with it some more!

I also have an extremely dirty mirror/ sensor and my pics are horrible! They are all coming off very soft and black spots all over! gahhh...more useless money will have to be spent i guess!

Yeah they do. There were two of them. It sounded like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader were fighting. :lol: I had to have my shutter at 1/100 and ISO at 400, it was like 8-8:30 at night which sucks because it was hard to get a good focus on them. Oh well I'll be back.
